Emergency Room Provider, MD, NP, PA - Emergency Room
Join Our Team as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant in a Rural Emergency Room!

• Comfortable Shifts: Enjoy 24-hour shifts with access to a very nice, large call room to sleep and rest while not seeing patients.
Key Responsibilities:
• Patient Assessment and Diagnosis:
o Conduct thorough physical examinations and patient histories.
o Diagnose a wide range of conditions, from minor ailments to complex emergencies.
• Emergency Procedures:
o Perform wound care, suturing, and minor surgical procedures.
o Manage acute injuries, including fractures and dislocations.
o Administer emergency medications and IV therapy.
• Critical Care Management:
o Stabilize patients in critical condition and prepare them for transfer if necessary.
o Monitor and manage patients with acute cardiac, respiratory, and other life-threatening conditions.
• Collaborative Care:
o Work closely with on-call physicians via telecommunication for consultation and support.
o Coordinate with local EMS for patient transfers and emergency response.
• Documentation and Follow-Up:
o Maintain accurate and thorough patient records.
o Provide follow-up care instructions and coordinate with primary care providers for continuity of care.
Qualifications:
• Educational Background: Master's degree from an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program.
• Licensure: Current state licensure as an NP or PA.
• Experience: Minimum of 1 years of emergency room experience preferred.
• Skills: Strong clinical skills, ability to work independently, excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
