Medical Assistant - Fredonia Family Care Clinic
Crittenden Community Hospital has an immediate opening for PRN Medical Assistant at Fredonia Family Care Clinic.
JOB SUMMARY:
Medical Assistant performs certain nursing procedures under the Supervision of the Supervisor or Physician (i.e.). Assist patients in all aspects of their care. Works closely with physicians, office staff, patients, families and visitors. Also performs testing for the following: Breath Alcohol, Drug Screens and audiograms.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
1.Communications effectively with patients, staff, insurance companies, pharmacies and suppliers.
2.Visible to all patients in waiting area while calling patients to exam room.
3.Voice tone is professional and courteous at all times.
4.Identifies self by name and department when answering the phone.
5.Notifies patients of office delays and check on patients in exam rooms during office delays.
6.Maintains all patient information with strict confidentially.
7.Conducts all verbal communication regarding patient care in a private area.
8.All charts lists are maintained (covered or turned) so that patient information can't be read.
9.Performs other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATION:
Education:High School Education.
Experience: Physician Office experience preferred.
Certifications/Licensure: Certified Nursing Assistant preferred.
CPR Certification
